The Firm

Originally founded in 1973, MDG is a nationally respected employee benefits brokerage and consulting firm licensed in over 30 states. We assist clients with the design, implementation and administration of employee benefit programs. Our staff members are seasoned insurance industry professionals with a wealth of subject matter expertise.

MDG services clients in the private, non-profit, and public sectors. We recognize that each employer has its own unique circumstances and challenges relating to employee benefits. Our staff takes a consultative approach to evaluating each employer’s needs and goals. Employee benefit strategies and plans are customized to each client’s needs. MDG continually monitors and assists with plan administration throughout the year.

The two principals of MDG are Lynn K. Gurnham, CIC and Matthew D. Libby, MBA, who together have in excess of 40 years in the consulting business. On a consulting and brokerage basis, MDG represents more than 250 companies, non-profit organizations and municipalities. Our offices are located in New York and Connecticut.
