Rachel Dion has been part of the MDG team since 2004. She joined MDG after six years at a health plan Third Party Administrator focusing on non-profit organizations. During this time she specialized in underwriting and sales support and was an integral part of creating both innovative marketing materials as well as a sales tracking and quoting computer program. Other past experience as an Office Manager gave her organizational and communication skills that she still utilizes today.

Rachel has worked with MDG’s municipal clients for over ten years and has sophisticated knowledge designing plan options and crafting union contract language for negotiations with unions. She works closely with MDG’s municipal clients’ legal teams during negotiations.

Rachel provides custom employee communication and compliance information to MDG’s clients during their annual open enrollment and ensures the material is up to date and available for distribution to employees.

Mrs. Dion’s experience as an underwriter, sales coordinator, sales analyst and team leader make her a valuable asset to MDG. Rachel resides with her husband and three children in North Branford, CT.
